the diesel is the one you want if you want to a daily fuel sipper without compromising on power ,recently we bought one for my wifes sister and she gets between 5l/100km (highway) to maybe 10l/100km (urban).

the 335 gets you between 10l/100km and 12l/100km not much different from an e46 330 ,but ten times more torque ,you'll find it hard to let off the right foot especially on the long road and can easily get up to 18l/100km if you drive hard all day .

its not easy going from e46 to e90 ,getting used to runflats ,no spare wheel ,and a noticeble road noise you can almost say the e90 is a bit dilluted .it has a sharper drive and better response tho but it all comes together with the power especialy when you overtake two ricers without gearing down from 6th!!

I managed to get a 320d msport. Great car I must say. Due for second oil service which I'm planning to DIY. Though I need a new vibration damper.
